This also means that we are now in the running for AUSTRALIAN Wholesalerof the Year 2011. The results of the Australian Hair Fashion Awards (AHFA’s) bought to us by the AHJ will be held on the 2nd of April in sydney at the always glamorous event.

Thought your retail sales aren’t as good as they could be? Well matrix has done the numbers for you & conducted a study of 400 women in melbourne. Turns out, a whopping 83% of customers walk out of a salon without purchasing retail only to buy supermarket brands. This is not all bad news… it just shows that this is a huge market to tap into. If a waiter suggest a glass of wine that is suitable to your dish you don’t consider him pushy, thats just great service! One way to help increase your retail is to give your clients a prescription tailored to their hair when they first sit down then actually used that particular product on their hair while at the basin & when they return to be styled. Your clients will usually have a issue with their hair & they come to you as a professional to solve it, so…. Sell results not products.
